Fundraising Series (Part Two): Fine-Tuning Your Story

Wednesday, May 9, 2012 & Thursday, May 10, 2012
8:00 am – 11:00 am
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

To participate in this session, your company must submit a slide deck.  A panel of VCs will review the presentations and give specific feedback to help you understand what investors want to hear in each major section of a pitch.

Please note that this is a group workshop session for educational purposes.  It is geared specifically so that each company can learn from the feedback given to other companies in the session.  You will be asked to present only a portion of your deck.

  • Each CEO will present his/her “tag line” and “elevator pitch.”
  • CEOs will be selected to present a section of their pitch and receive feedback from the investors.
  • No CEO will make his/her full presentation during this session.

From this session, the investors will select CEOs to continue on to the Part Three.

Fundraising Series (Part Three) – Presenting Your Story to Venture Funds

Wednesday, May 23, 2012
9:00 am – 5:00 pm

With new skills and a revised presentation, you will pitch to our VCs and experts and get the feedback you need to further hone your pitch.  In Part Three, you will be able to present your pitch deck in its entirety with no other companies in the room.  Just you and the investors.

  • Is your investor presentation ready for the prime time?
  • How does your business model stack up against the competition?
  • Would you get invited back to a second VC meeting?
