It is a free virtual event connecting entrepreneurs working on advanced technologies to the country’s largest source of early stage funding – the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. Also known as America’s Seed Fund, the SBIR/STTR programs provide over $4 billion in funding through over 7,000 new awards to small businesses each year in a wide variety of technology areas.

Policy Hackers: Apply Now for the 2021-2022 Cohort

The application deadline is July 18, 2021.

Fellows will remain in their current roles while engaging with policy experts, lobbyists, academics, and government officials throughout the year-long program, including summits in DC and the Bay Area. The programming is aimed at helping fellows build the skills to navigate and engage effectively in the policy arena, while developing a principled framework for thinking about the regulation of emerging technologies.

Innovation Challenge Application due by July 9, 2021


National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) is accepting submissions through July 9, 2021, for its Innovation Challenge.

NAB is inviting startups to apply in the following areas:
• Products that leverage edge technologies: geo-targeted content, location-based advertising, accurate audience measurement, augmented experiences, etc.
• Technologies that enhance broadcast journalism to help viewers and listeners get more from their most trusted source of local news.
In-vehicle technologies that deliver more value out of broadcasting: radio, back-seat entertainment etc.

UC Hastings Law School Legal Garage 2021


UC Hastings Law School Startup Legal Garage in San Francisco is now accepting the applications from tech startups to receive free legal work for the Fall 2021 Semester.

The Startup Legal Garage is a law school experiential learning clinic that provides corporate work and patent work to exciting startups. The clinic partners with supervising attorneys from top Bay Area law firms—including WSGR, DLA Piper, Orrick, Hogan Lovells, Troutman Pepper, Hanson Bridgett, Morrison & Foerster, Pillsbury, and more—to prepare select UC Hastings students for real-world practice with real-world clients.
