Wenli Yu, currently serves as CEO of Archimedes Controls Corp., a Silicon Valley based high technology company focused in global data center market. Prior to co-founding Archimedes, Wenli served as General Manager and Legal Representative of JDSU, a global optical communications market leader responsible for its WOFE operations in China and business expansion in Asia.
He also built the company’s Broadband Network R&D Center in Shenzhen. Wenli has over 25 years of experiences in business development, building customer bases and distribution channels, R&D and manufacturing partnerships in North America, Asia and Europe for carrier and enterprise marketplaces. Before joining JDSU, Wenli founded and co-founded multiple technology companies backed by Silicon Valley and Mid-Atlantic based venture capitals and acquired by publicly traded companies (Lucent, Vina, PMC).
Over the decades of his business career, he worked as Product Line Manager, Hardware Manager and was instrumental in developing, managing and winning market leadership positions for several brand-name communications products in the global communications market.
Robin is currrently filling key, hands-on roles with startup teams including fund raising, strategy, business development and product management.
Robin has founded and led revolutionary technology companies in roles of CEO, CTO, VP of Business Development and Solutions Consultant in the US and Asia Pacific. Particular expertise in leading international organizations, strategic partnerships, sales, professional services, product management, IT platform architecture and lean product management.
Most recently, working with companies with new technologies such as wearables, virtual reality, IoT, brainwave readers and magnetic field generators, to make a difference in Health and Education Markets.
An attorney, turned serial entrepreneur. Boris emigrated from Moscow, Russia at the tender age of 10 and moved with his family to Minneapolis, MN. Leveraging college as a means to escape the cold, he attended the Claremont McKenna College in California, majoring in psychology and literature. His interests then took a more practical turn, sending him across the country to the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he experienced one of the world’s most metropolitan cities.
Boris took advantage of several opportunities in the international legal arena: he worked for MBR Rechtsanwälte Attorneys in Zurich, Switzerland, where he focused on various wealth management strategies, primarily based on creation of offshore trusts; completed a seminar program at Oxford University in England on Corporate Governance; and spent time in Rome, Italy, where he particularly enjoyed familiarizing himself with International Arbitration.
Starting with what he knew best, Boris founded his law firm only a year after graduation and has since founded and invested in other ventures, ranging from tactical laser-tag, to more traditional tech startups like Seedstages – platform for connecting student entrepreneurs with one another and investors.
Adam’s curiosity about human behavior and passion for building on the web led him to a career in user experience research and design. Currently, a design lead and senior UX designer on the BrightRoll Ad Products team at Yahoo, Adam is also a public speaker and sought-after design mentor.
In working with startups in both full-time and consultative roles for the past eight years, Adam has a rich understanding of how human-centered research and design can help teams focus on delivering meaningful value to the people they serve.
Most importantly, Adam trains and mentors startups and next-generation designers. Through talks, workshops, and 1:1 mentoring, he helps individuals and teams develop critical design skills and design-focused cultures.
